Stewards of the Mysteries of God...Released in 2020, this book is written for Apostolic pastors, ministers, Sunday School teachers, saints, new converts and for those wanting to know what the Bible says about salvation delivered to the Church in the Book of Acts. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians 4:1 that we are “stewards of the mysteries of God”. An amazing twenty-seven times the writers of the New Testament use a Greek word that is translated into the English word mystery (or mysteries). Strong’s Concordance tells us that this Greek word carries a connotation of “a secret or mystery . . . a hidden thing, something that is unknown or never spoken, uttered, or have been revealed”. The New Testament writers tells us that these “mysteries” were hidden in times past but are now revealed to the Church to reach a lost world.
Colossians 1:25-28 – “Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.” Romans 16:25-26 – “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith.” **Paperback and Kindle e-book are available on Amazon. "Reverend Eric Smith has written an outstanding and scholarly work on the precious and timeless truths found in the Word of God!" - Pastor Russell Campbell, Christian Revival Center, Corpus Christi, Texas
"I thoroughly enjoyed your book. I found it easy to read and in a easy-to-follow style. Your approach to stewardship and how it relates to christian life was refreshing and spot-on, and I found the connection of that responsibility of stewardship to the mysteries of God that have been entrusted by revelation to Christians to be enlightening and challenging. I had never seen this connection in quite that way before, and I believe many of your readers will say the same. This is an excellent book that I will be recommending to others and using as a template for a Bible Study series and/or small group curriculum in our local church." - Pastor Tremayne Simoneaux, Victory Worship Center, Houston, Texas
